to the filter cartridge. Simply remove the Posi-Ring™, lift the tank lid
and spray-rinse the cartridge with your garden hose. Cartridge filtration also
eliminates backwashing, which wastes chemically treated heated water.

The filter manufacturers do not have any ratings for use of these filters in sea water. Therefore, if the filter were to fail and it was determined the cause of failure was use in sea water, the warranty would not be honored.
