We have 22,500 gallon inground pool and this pump keeps the water clean. It was purchased as a replacement and installation was easy with just basic pumping skills. Note:Professional installation is recommended but if you are handy it won't be difficult- I do DYI projects around the house but do not work in this type of trade.
It is smooth running with minimal noise,and easy to clean out with a large basket.The Pump itself feels sturdy-not flimsy and has durable cap knobs which stay in place when cleaning out the basket. We've had no problems.
