Part # 75003
With microprocessor controls, digital read-out of pool water temperature, current salt level, purifier production level, soft reverse cell cleaning cycle and boost cycle, the Pool Pilot Digital is a technologically advanced unit. The easy to read digital readout on this in-line unit even tells you how much salt to add should it run low. The Pool Pilot Digital has a patented temperature compensation feature that actually adjusts chlorine production according to the demands of the water temperature and operates in water temperatures up to 104°. It can purify pools up to 50,000 gallons and has a built-in time clock to control your pool pump...all at the touch of a button.
Unit requires bypass manifold and cell assembly, sold separately.
Yes, I was looking at part # 75003 and it says I need to buy a manifold and cell assembly for this unit. I just would like to know how much them extra parts.cost for this unit.

Depending on the size of your pool, the cell would vary. This is the page with all the variable cells , based on gallonage, that your would need. If you were to order the Soft Touch system, those come with the cells.

I have a pool pilot that I powered up yesterday and it says Pool Pilot Set time of day and no matter what button I press on the unit it will not change from "Set Time of Day". Any suggestions on resetting it or a button to push to continue? i have cut the power on and off a couple of times thinking this would help. HELP PLEASE!

What do you do if this system has too much salt added to the pool ??

If the pool has too much salt in it then the system will not generate chlorine. You would need to add fresh water to the pool to dilute that level.

Will rain water dilute the salt level ? Purifier is set at 55% Will this start generating automatically when level comes down??

Hi Dave, Yes rainwater will dilute the salt concentration and lower your salt PPM. Typically you should have a high salt indicator light on your power supply and if the salt level gets too high then this indicator light will trip and the system will no longer produce chlorine. The system has no problem creating chlorine at high salt levels however it is damaging to the cell so if you run the system too long at the high salt concentration then your cell will fail prematurely. Normally when your salt level falls below the high salt level threshold set by the manufacturer (normally between 3500 and 4500 PPM) then the high salt light will turn off and the system will start creating chlorine again. Sometimes by powering the system on and off again, the salt reading will adjust itself to lower levels.
