Replacement Cartridge for DuoClear Sanitizing System
The DuoClear Nature 2 cartridge lasts six months under normal operating conditions. The cartridge should not be used longer than six continuous months. If the cartridge is not replaced promptly, your pool will not be sanitized properly by the chlorination alone, even at full output. The DuoClear system requires sufficient residual silver provided by the cartridge to sanitize effectively.

Searching locally for this DuoClear cartridge for a salt water pool was frustrating at best. Inyopools.com made purchasing easy at a very reasonable price with a speedy delivery time. Installation was quick and easy.

Pros: dramatically reduces CL needs, lasts entire season up North with no problem, not sure if/how to push it to a second season since I only use for 6 months

Pool was saline with the Zodiac duoclear 45 operating well. Huge amounts of rain put the salt bill through the roof $15 per bag in Honduras) Saw nature 2 ad and realised that half the zodiac duoclear is a nature 2 cartridge so reconnected and turnrd off the salt/chlorine element. I super chlorinated the pool to reactivate a 3 month old cartridge and am waiting now for results. 5 ppm of chlorine here in honduras is not enough for keeping the pool in good shape. Hoping now I don't have to super chlorinate so often and start dropping down to the .5 ppm they recommend.
