I have an above ground pool with a natural gas pool heater. It seems that I have to constantly run the heater to maintain the water temperature and it costs more than I want to keep spending. Is there anything I can do to lower the operating costs?

Hi, I have an irregular kidney shaped pool and a round spa. I don't know if there is any solar blanket that matches the shape of my pool. At minimum, I would want to cover my spa with a round cover because I can at least keep my spa warm. My question is if your cover does not exact fit, can I cut it to size? Will it create problems later if I cut it?

Simon- In regards to solar blankets, its easiest and most cost effective to order a rectangular cover and cut it to size with scissors. It will not cause any issues in the future.

I have a 15 x 26 oval above ground pool, can I use 2 of these and have it be effective ? What % of water coverage is required for a solar cover to be useful ?

Hi, Ralph. The 15' x 30' Oval Clear Supreme Solar Cover, 16 Mil - SC-CL-000321 would provide you with 100% coverage. At least 80% of the pool has to be covered for effectiveness.
