Does the warranty cover shipping for this solar blanket?

The warranty covers the shipping cost for a replacement blanket only for the first 8 months.The warranty for this solar blanket is through Midwest Canvas.

Can I put the cover on immediately after adding chemicals or does that damage the cover? We have used 8ml covers in the past and are wondering if 16ml is worth the extra cost living in Wisconsin. Thanks!

We usually suggest waiting at least 5 minutes for the chemicals to settle before putting the cover over the pool. But, for the most part these covers are meant to hold up against the pool chemicals. The 16mil would be a lot thicker and this would increase not only the temperature that the pool got, it would decrease the time it took to heat the pool and it is a better thickness for heat retention.

Thanks for your response! One more question. Is the actual weight of the 16 ML a lot heavier than the 8ml. On our 30 foot round pool once the cover is rolled on the reel it’s heavy to get on and off the pool. Just wondering if we can handle a 16 ML. Thanks again for your help

Hi. The 16mil cover is approximately 10 heavier than the 8mil cover.
