I was having a separate filter issue when I put these on my two skimmer baskets. As a result they quickly became full/clogged. But as this is the purpose I don't fault them and in fact, it helped to make it clear that the filter was not working correctly. But I didn't check tham after one day but not until day two. At which point my pump was cavitating because the waterflow was insufficient.
