Standard tune up kit for the Sta-Rite P4E & P4EA Max-E-Glas II / DuraGlas II pumps includes the shaft seal and all o-rings, gaskets and lubricant.
We highly recommend replacing the shaft seal, o-rings and gaskets when replacing your motor. If you use your old shaft seal, it will not mate up properly with the new motor and may leak.

Is this kit compatible with parts C103-194P and C105-238P. The part you sent me in order #818194 (GO-KIT54) doesn't fit. The motor seal was too small and I will need to return it. I would like to order the correct kit ASAP, as I have pulled my old pump and the pool is stagnant.

Hi, David. GOKIT54 or GOKIT38 is not compatible with Part # C103-194P. That Seal Plate can be used with either the Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro or Sta-Rite IntelliPro VS 3050. The tune up kit part number for the Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro is GOKIT79, there is not a kit for the Sta-Rite IntelliPro VS 3050 pump.

We do not have instructions specifically for the Sta-Rite Max-E-Glas/Dura-Glas II pump. However, we do have a guide for the Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro pump, which is very similar. Check out our guide titled "How To Replace a Motor on a Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro Pool Pump". It includes instructions on how to replace the seals.
