I already have a Z-wave system and only need to control 2 items. A single speed (240V) Pentair pool pump and a standard (120v) light switch for my LED pool light. So if I am not concerned about pool temperature, freezing, and valve control, can I just purchase the PE653 without the remote and other items, and still accomplish what I am looking for? Will I be able to program the pool pump remotely?

Hi, Jim. Yes, you can use just the PE653 Receiver, sync it with the Z-Wave Controller to control the pump and light.

Does this come with the air temp sensor included? Not sure since it listed it as an 'accessory item'.
