COLOR MAY VARY!
PureLine K2 Series Pool Winter Cover for Inground Pools - 15 Year Warranty (2 Yr. Full) - Forest Green Color, Beige Color, or Silver Top due to supply demands
The PureLine K2 series winter cover is our mid-priced cover which has all of the strength and durability to insure years of winter protection. Heavier woven polyethylene scrim and coating make our K2 cover strong and able to withstand wind, sleet and snow. The K2 cover is U.V. stabilized to protect it from the harmful effects of the sun. It features a black underside to retard algae growth and heat sealed seams to insure a crystal clear pool next spring.
The PureLine K2 cover comes with loops every four feet to secure water bags and corner grommets allow for extra tie down in windy areas. The cover is 5 feet longer and wider than the pool size and it is backed by a 15 year warranty (2 years full rated).
STRONG, LONG-LASTING WOVEN STRANDS
The strength of a winter cover determined by the weight, or "denier", of the individual stands. PureLine strands are 50% stronger than competition.
NO MORE ALGAE GROWTH!
PureLine covers are constructed of an extremely tight weave fabric that does not allow light to pass through. Without sunlight, algae cannot grow!

What’s the difference between a winter cover and a safety cover?
Reply
Safety covers are used in conjunction with anchors to lock them into place over your pool to prevent people and animals from falling into the pool. Winter covers are kept in place with water tubes and do not lock into place. They DO NOT prevent accidents. Both products will keep leaves and debris out of the pool during the winter season.

Does the covers come with water bags to hold it in place?
Reply
Hi Pamela, Water bags are not included with the Winter covers, they are sold separately. You can click link >Pool Winterizing - Inground< to choose from the water bags we have.

Does your K2 winter cover come with grommets just in the corners of the cover or also along the edges every 3 or 4 feet for added tie down?
Reply
Hi. The K2 Cover has grommets only on the corners and tie downs along the cover.

I have steps at one end of my pool, do I need to order a larger cover to accommodate?
Reply
Hi. Yes, you will need to factor in the step when measuring the which end of the pool the steps are on.
Reply
Your K2 cover has grommets on the corners, water bag loops every 4 feet, does it also have smaller tie down loops around the perimeter in order to tie down or hook sides that are acceptable to windy conditions.
Reply
Hi, John. No additional tie down or hooks are built into the cover to secure it.

Purchased this cover for our pool. Very please with the lightweight durable construction. The straps to hold the water bags was an extra bonus. Held up perfect this winter. Opened pool and water was crystal clear.

Pros: don't know yet
Cons: don't know yet
The cover is fine for the first year, my real concern is in the following years to come. Our old cover would come apart at the seams and leak, hope yours doesn't do this. Also hope it is strong enought to keep a gumball from punching a hole in it.

Pros: easy to install
Cons: Could use about twice as many water tube loops.
I've used covers like this for the last 30 years and they usually last 2-3 years. I just installed this cover today, so a real review should be at the 2-3 year point.
