When I winterize with these chemicals, should I run them through my heater or should that be disconnected (bypassed).
Reply
I would recommend running it through the heater. That winterizing kit comes with a rust and scale preventer that will be good for your heater and prolong the life so it's not sitting, rusting over the winter months.

Winterizing kit for 30000 gallon above ground pool using salt water system.. Which kit is recommended?

Hello- If you are looking for a chlorine shock Winterizing Kit (recommended), I would suggest the 30,000 Gal. Winterizing Kit with Burst - NY916. If you prefer a Non-Chlorine Shock, then I would recommend the 30,000 Gal. Winterizing Kit w/ Chlor-Free Shock.

can I use the Winterizing Kit, asw/ Chlor-Free Shock as starting kit for the start of the season?????/

Hi. You can use this kit depending on the condition of the pool when opening it. If there are a high enough chlorine level and little to no algae in the pool, this winterizing kit can be used.

We have. 30000 gal finite pool. Water looks perfect but when tested has a high cyanuruc (117) and we were told to use non stabilized chlorine. When we close pool should we use the no chlorine winterizing kut?
Reply
Hello, Yes I would definitely use the non-chlorinated option with the winterizing kit.
