Corona Discharge Ozonators for Residential Pools offered at a Low Price!
Eclipse 2 / Eclipse 4
Corona Discharge ozone generators produce far more ozone than comparably sized UV ozone generators. The Del ECLIPSE line of CD ozone generators produce up to 3 times the concentration of ozone produced by a UV generator. The ECLIPSE units produce ozone concentrations reaching 1,350 ppm while UV generators top at about 550 ppm.
The Del ECLIPSE 1-4 units are for in-ground pools with water capacities from 7,000 - 25,000 gallons (ECLIPSE-1) 15,000 50,000 gallons (ECLIPSE-2) and 25,000 - 100,000 gallons (ECLIPSE-4). The numbers vary depending on whether you choose the Del Eclipse as your primary sanitizer or as your secondary sanitizer. The more ozone you have the less chemicals you will require. These units install easily into new or existing pools.
The ECLIPSE units are designed for installation with an adjustable injector manifold (included) plumbed into the main return line after all other pool equipment as shown below. The Del ECLIPSE will operate in unison with the pool's main time clock.
Dispersion method: Plumbs into swimming pool return line; injects ozone through a venturi injector (included) when the swimming pool circulation system operates.

What is the difference between the Del Ozone Eclipse and Total Eclipse units?
Reply
The Total Eclipse ozone system uses an internal pump to operate 24-hours per day, independently from the main filtration system, while the standard Eclipse ties into the main pump cycle.

Can the Eclipse or Total Eclipse ozonators be used on an above ground pool?
Reply
Either model will work well on an above ground pool but we would recommend the use of the MDV (Mixing Degas Vessel) kit to protect the vinyl liner.

Once the Eclipse ozonator is installed, how do I know it's producing ozone? Is there a test or tester to see if it's working correctly?
Reply
There are indicator lights on the unit to display that the unit is working properly. The green indicator light indicates the ozone power supplies are working. The red indicator light will flash when the ozone module is no longer producing ozone and needs to be replaced.

Do I need to do anything to the pool before the Del Eclipse is installed?
Reply
Yes, it is recommended that the filter is cleaned one day before starting the ozonator. The pH and alkalinity levels will need to be balanced. The pool will need to be super chlorinated and run continuously for 24 hours.
