How to Clean a Salt Cell
I have an AquaRite that uses the t-cell-15. The system is 5/6 years old. Do I need a soft ware update?

No you would not need a software update, the GLXCELL15 would work fine with your system here >http://www.inyopools.com/Products/02100023001296.htm The GLXCELL15 comes without the flow switch which you would not require. The only time you would need a software upgrade is if you went with one of the smaller cells which just came out in 2009 if for example you tried to install a TCELL3 your software would not recognize this cell but the GLXCELL15 (TCELL15) is recognized by all versions of the software.

This is a simple fix for someone that has a salt cell that is not working. It takes 5 minutes to just remove the old cell and replace it with a new one. Unplug the old cell from the panel and loosen up 2 joints holding the cell in place, replace the old o-rings and install the new cell and plug into the panel. Within 2 minutes of restarting the pump the sale reading was at 3600 and the cell was operational.

Pros: trouble free and easy installed
Cons: it is hard to clean without submerging it into the water/muratic acid solution.
This is truly a great product. My last one was used for 10 years. This model is designed for the larger pools and up 40,000 gallons of water.

The new TCELL15 arrived within 3 days of completing my order. The unit was easy to install and had very good directions. Upon installation, the unit began working immediately.
