How many gallons per minute & what hp do I need for a 24000 gal. Pool & what size D E filter would be compatible?

Hayward Matrix pool pump is for an above ground pool, is your pool above or inground? I would also need to know your pipe size if you do have an inground pool.

24000 gal pool 1 1/2" pipe Above Ground. What size pump & What size D E Filter will do the job? now Have Hayward 3/4 H. p. motor & pump & sand filter which takes 2 to3 weeks to clearup & be ready for my many grandchildren to enjoy. thanks for your time & advice. Your company has been a great source of parts & the service has been terrific. Thanks, waiting anxiously for your reply.

We would recommend the Hayward EC50C93S. The pump would come with a standard 3-prong plug.

Will this pump accommodate salt water ?

Any pool pump can accommodate a salt system ( water ) The most damaging thing to a pump would be if the water gets out of balance. Or if an object made it past the pump basket and damaged the impeller.

The updated design from our last hayward was excellent. The new basket clean out is awesome and screwing the lid on is much be easier and attaches easier than the previous model.

Pros: Very quiet, great flow
This is a great pump. Very quiet, great flow. It was easy to install. We love it and so do our neighbors since it is so quiet.
