HI...mine has a cartridge....not a bag.....i always hose it down but now it needs replacing......are they using bags now?? thx!

According to the manufacturer's manual, the original filter uses DE bags not cartridges.

went to backwash and a plume of water shot out of sep. tank. pool maint people were last to service, and they are unavailable. now I'm having trouble getting sep tank lid to fit back on without it leaking. o-ring looks fine. tie-rod feels appropriately tight, as well. any ideas? thank you.

Hi LJ, The Filter Head O-ring (CX900F) can appear to be fine but if it's not allowing the lid to close properly then I will recommend replacing it. You will also need to apply some Magic Lube to the o-ring before installing it.
