The heater protection / fireman's switch shuts the heater off 10 minutes before the pump shuts off to protect your pool equipment.

Since the fireman switch turns the heater off 10 minutes before the pump turns off, may I assume the switch controls both the heater AND the pump? That I wouldn’t need separate timers for each?
