Will this pump work if my GPM is 80 gallons?
Reply
Hi Dan, If you need 80 gallons per minute then I would suggest the 1-1/2 HP Jacuzzi Cygnet Pump or if your budget can afford it then the 1-1/2 HP Jacuzzi Magnum Pump. The Magnum in general is "beefier" pump which has quite a bit larger basket to handle more debris, includes unions and has an overall larger pumping capacity.

are there any unions available fo this pump? will it replace an older hayward max-flo 1 hp? thanks
Reply
For the Jacuzzi Cygnet you would require two of these 2" Male x 2" Slip Unions this pump will replace the Hayward Max Flow from a water output standpoint. The port locations on the Cygnet are different than the Max-Flo so you will have some re-plumbing.

hi, i was wondering if there is a pump curve for this model? i am replacing an old hayward max flo 1 hp unit. it looks like this draws less amps. is this a discontinued model? thanks
