What is the difference between an Electronic and Millivolt ignition?
 Reply

A  Answered on 10/10/2012 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

The basic answer is that Millivolt is the old style of ignition, using a standing pilot light. While the electronic ignition uses a spark start system like a gas grill. Electronic ignitions are more efficient in gas usage and also are better suited for high wind areas where a pilot light might get extinguished.

What does the high altitude mean? Can the LG250NBH be used at any altitude?
 Reply

A  Answered on 4/23/2013 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

The LG250NBH is designed for use in altitudes of 3000-6000 feet above sea level. You would not be able to use this heater at a lower altitude because of the way the heater is designed. We carry other heaters that are designed for lower altitudes which can be found on our heater page.

Hi, David. This unit has to be hardwired for 115 or 230 volts, see pages 17-21 of the Laars Lite 2 Owner's Manual.
