Part # R0807202
Impeller 1.5 THP w/Screw, Backplate O-Ring - R0807202
Impeller with screw and backplate o-ring for the following pumps:
My existing pump is a Jandy Stealth SHPM1.0 but is shy on Head Pressure. Will changing out the existing impeller model R0807203 with R0807202 give my system a boost in Head Pressure? If so, how much?
Thank you.

Hello Philip, unfortunately no, increasing the HP rating on an impeller will not increase the flow and in fact being that they are designed heavier that can cause the motor to shut down and or fail.

To replace the impeller is not a problem, the real problem is not having your filtration system not running for a week while you are waiting your part to arrive.
I have created a back system that I can plugin on the piping of the pool equipment where the Jandy pump goes without any new piping.
1) I have used two 3" x 2" rubber connection with metal clamps in both ends
2) Small pump 1HP 1 1/2" inlet/output
3) 1 1/2" PVC pipe (2 feet just make cut of parts needed)
3) 1 1/2" rubber 90" connector with metal clamps in both ends.
4) 2 PVC reduction 2" slip in to 1 1/2" slip in
5) 45 angle 1 1/2" slip in
* Connected 3" x 2" with clamps into the pipe where the Jandy pump was attached
* place the adapter 2" x 1 1/2" in the rubber connector
* connect the 1 1/2" adapter from the pump inlets
* connect the 90 degrees rubber connector into the 1 1/2" pump outlet adapter.
* connect the 3" x 2 " rubber adapter into jandy CS200 filter using the 3" side
* on the 2" side place adapter 2" x 1 1/2"
* clue a piece of pipe on it
* now use the 45 degrees making adjustments to connect to outlet of the pipe
Now I have a back pump, that works plug and play on the pipe of the pool equipment.
