The little window for the display on my cover is broken. Do I need to replace the complete cover or can I put a clear tape over it?

It is recommended to replace the cover to help prevent any future water damage to the supply.

Hi, Franz Juran. This Cover Assembly - R0512400 does include the LCD window and buttons.
