The Legend Platinum automatic cleaner is the ideal choice for inground pools exposed to higher loads of leaves and debris. No other automatic cleaner is more powerful and stable. The Legend Platinum is a pressure-side cleaner with a heavy-duty large capacity bag that removes with a quick twist. A large capacity debris channel and a huge intake throat easily picks up larger leaves and debris.
An innovative hydro-dynamic body,
front wheel drive/fourwheel design and treaded tires assure this cleaner can
easily access and clean tough-to-reach areas of your pool. Suitable for concrete,
gunite, vinyl-lined and fiberglass pools, it can clean most pools thoroughly
in just 1 to 3 hours. Standard models are available in white or gray to blend
in with any pool color scheme. The Legend Platinum can also be ordered with

What is a booster pump, and where does it attach to?

This cleaner is designated as a pressure side cleaner which means:Pressure Pool Cleaners most pressure cleaners require a booster pump which is typically a ¾ horse power pump that is dedicated for use with the cleaner alone. The booster pump allows you to operate the pressure cleaner without taking any suction away from your main pool pump. The addition of the booster pump does mean pressure cleaners require a more involved installation than either suction or robotic cleaners. The booster pump is installed in tandem with your pool pump.
