Timer Valve Kit
I have a Pentair Racer that won't go forward. At normal water pressure it is like it is fighting to go forward. If I turn the pressure all the way down it will move forward slowly but the vacuum pressure barely fills the bag. I think the reverse stream is on constantly. Could a bad timer, 360247, cause this?
Thank you,
Mike

Ensure the filter pump and booster pump are on and moving water. (You may need to clean your pool filter system.) Ensure the wall fitting screen is free of debris; you may need to remove and rinse. Check all feed hose connections and swivels for leaks. Check for debris that may be jammed in the gear teeth on one of the front-drive wheels. Gently rotate the front wheels backward to dislodge debris. Check to see if the rear wheels are spinning freely. Replace wheels if necessary. Use page two in the manual http://images.inyopools.com/cloud/documents/pentair-racer-om.pdf to verify proper flow at the wall fitting.
