Hi Philip, The replacement motor for the Pentair Challenger 1-1/2 HP 230V Dual Speed, UR Pump (34-6226) would be the A.O. Smith 1 1/2 H.P Square Flange Dual Speed Up Rate Motor (UQS1152R).

Hi Michael, We are big fans of the Waterway Champion Pump as it has a great output of water, includes unions and is less expensive than the Challenger. Our suggestion would be the Waterway Champion Pump We have the Waterway Champion in stock ready to ship.

Hi Jimmy, Unfortunately, we do not currently have this pump in stock. You might consider this 1.4 HP Waterway Variable Speed Pump which will be much more energy-efficient than this Dual Speed Challenger. Variable Speed Pumps typically cost about 40% - 70% less to operate than a traditional single speed pump. Here is an Article that Explains How Much a Single Speed, Dual Speed and Variable Speed Pump costs to Operate.
