Meteor ® filters feature a spherical tank design with an exclusive 6-position, clamp on, top mount valve and 1-1/2 inch pressure sand drain. This system combines the proven Dynamo Pump on a heavy duty molded base to create the "Ultimate Pressure Vessel" package for aboveground pools.

I see it says this Pentair 18" is no longer available you have nothing in stock at all? The part that hkds the sand in ours we noticed has a crack we need to replace it. What can we do?

Hi Stephanie we have comparable 18" Sand Filter W/ 3/4 HP Pump on clearance which I would suggest as a replacement.

what kind of sand do I use for changing this system?

Good day, you would use either ZeoSand a sand Alternative - NA510 or 20-grade silica sand.
