The Frontier II board is available in 6 ft. and 8 ft. lengths. The board is intended for light to moderate use on residential swimming pools. Frontier II boards consist of one, wide laminated, wood core runner that extend along the entire length of the board. The board's durable acrylic outer surface will not scratch or fade — providing many years of recreational enjoyment.
Frontier II boards come in combination with the Frontier II Jump Stand. The Frontier II jump stand is a radiant white, powder-coated, opposing force steel spring that produces good board action and a clean look. Stand is intended for use only with the 6-foot (1.83m) and 8-foot (2.44m) Frontier II board and comes complete with Uni-Mount jig and stainless steel hardware to simplify, ease and quicken installation.

I've had to replace the stand twice. Is there a heavier duty replacement stand that uses the same bolt pattern? I take the board and stand off each winter as one unit. The stand always cracks between the back two bolt holes. Could I be bolting it down wrong?

There is no other Spring Stand which you could use as a replacement. One possibility would be to go with the SR Smith Cantilever Stand and Board, this is a much sturdier and rugged board but you would get less bounce. The board and base combination would not use the same bolt pattern so you would need to purchase the S.R. Smith Epoxy Kit, this would require that you cut your existing bolts flush with the deck. You would then drill 4 holes in your deck and apply epoxy to the 4 bolts which come in the kit; you would then stick these 4 bolts into the deck so you will now have 4 new bolts sticking up out of your deck which can accommodate the new Cantilever stand. Thanks for the great question!

I have a need for a diving board with a higher weight capacity than 250 pounds. Is there one available that can handle a person around 300 pounds?

The S.R. Smith U-Frame coupled with the Frontier IV Diving Board has a weight capacity of 400 ponds.

(4 out of 5 stars) Rust issue

First: shipping was excellent, and product was as described. Installed in early June 2021. Has preformed well. Was installed to replace an about 20 year old board that the metal base had rusted then broke at the anchor bolts. Having a concern about rust showing on metal base already. Seems that the paint coating is not adequate.
