Will this union screw into the Hayward s-240 sand filter variflow valve ports for the pump intake, the pool return, and the waste discharge port?

Hello James, as long as your valve has 1.5-inch inner diameter ports then yes this unit will work with it.

Pros: Good fit, easy to install.
