The height of the basket is 7-3/4". The outside diameter of the top is 8-7/16" and the bottom outside diameter is 7-1/2".

The bottom of the basket cracked when I was trying to empty it. Hit it on the bottom with my hand and I guess it was weakened by the chlorine tablets in it. It actually was still okay though. But then a few weeks later part off the rim broke off. Leaves were actually passing by the basket through the broken side.

I expected that finding the correct skimmer basket would be difficult since our pool was built years ago, we could not determine the brand of the skimmer, and the basket that was being used was obviously the wrong size. But your web site, with its suggestions, measurements, descriptions and photos allowed me to get it right on the first try! Thanks for the help.

It's just a little smaller than the one that I had to replace. I'm not sure why but it constantly floats to the top. I've had to put a rock into the basket to keep it down.

Fit good but cracked in less than a month. Emptied it 3 times.Disappointed. Bad design with sharp corners on high stress area of the plastic. Last one I had lasted 10 years.
