My skimmer basket is in OK condition except for the brass handle. It broke off a week ago and I am having trouble getting the basket out of the skimmer. Can I purchase the brass rod separately and install?

This SwimQuip U-3 Skimmer basket is only sold whole. We apologize but the brass handle is not parted out for purchase.

I need a replacement skimmer basket. It measures 8" x 5" exactly. It is a Astral Pool basket. Do you carry that exact size?

Hi Kathie, you may have the Astral inground vinyl skimmer that looks to have a similar basket based on your dimensions on key letter B. Please review to better confirm.

First time I replaced the original basket after the metal handle come off. The replacement is more durable and has a stronger more secure handle. Very pleased!

Behold the one of the finest incarnations of a skimmer basket available today. Nothing bigger than the holes in the basket gets through. The white plastic does just what white plastic should do on a skimmer basket. The included handle lets you handle it, just as a handle should do. This is a skimmer basket that you can purchase and then forget until you need to empty it. Once you've emptied it and returned it to its place you don't need to think of it again. And isn't that what we want from a white plastic skimmer basket with handle? Of course it is.

I have alot of leaves around my pool and my skimmer baskets get a workout as a result. I had been buying cheap-o $8 baskets from the local pool store, but the handle breaks off of them and the sides split in no time. These baskets appear to be much better quality and flexible plastic material. The handle is also metal, which is great. Give these a shot if you are tired of baskets splitting on you quickly.

Basket fits perfectly. The handle to pull it out came as a steel rod across the center rather than the brass handle offset to one side so it could get in the way of emptying it.

They advertised using a picture of a different product and then sent me something else instead. I called and was told under the picture was a disclaimer that said it would be different then the picture, I never even saw that. Now I have to pay to ship it back which is just not worth any more of my time or money. Still looking for my skimmers.
