Is this the same as Laguna brand serial # 10009? Does it have 2 connection holes in the bottom as well as the clean out?

Yes this was sold under the Laguna brand name and has two plumbing connections at the bottom as well as a clean out plug.

I chatted with your rep Wednesday and thanks for identifying the part. I checked my unit nd it has 2 ports 180 deg apart at bottom. Your picture shows only one port. Can you make sure the part is correct before I order? Any black Friday discount?

Yes, the Bottom, 150/200 Filter Almond After 11/98 (178560) has two ports. One is for the intake of the water and the other is the discharge.

Are the body swivel and the union nut 2 inches or 1inch on this item?

Measures 3-1/2-inch length by 1-1/4-inch height by 3-1/2-inch width.

the physical measurement will be the 2" but it is considered 1.5" plumbing.

The tank o-ring for this filter body is part number 4652-03.

The intake on the old filter bottom broke off.

The installation was very simple. The old filter easily unscrewed from the pool pipes. The new filter bottom easily screwed into the old pipes (just make sure you connect the intake and outtake correctly). The old filter, core and top fit the new bottom piece perfectly.
