Please note that capacitors store an electric charge and should be handled with the utmost caution and care. We do not encourage handling a capacitor without any type of safety measures in place and highly recommend contacting a professional service company for repair/replacement. For those that feel comfortable changing the capacitor here's >How to replace a pool pump capacitor. In order to match up the capacitor you will need more specifications on the capacitor. You will need to match the voltage, the MFD, whether or not the capacitor is a >run or >start type and the actual dimensions of the capacitor body.

Hi Faris, We do not have enough information to locate or confirm if this capacitor is the correct one for your spa pump motor. We will need the specs off of the capacitor or the part, mod or cat number off of the motor.

I need a start capacitor for an A.O.Smith 230 volt two speed motor. I can only read part of the label and this is what I know model starts with C48K2 and ends with 05, amps 7.3/2.6, speed 3450/1725, volts 230, ph 1. What is the correct start capacitor for this motor? Thank you.

In order to find the correct capacitor, we would need the full model number of the motor or need the ratings off the capacitor's label.
