What fitting do I use where Kreepy hose attaches to leaf strainer? Kreepy is older than 93.

Hello - That cone kit is used when the hose will not fit correctly into the skimmer. Typically the leaf canister fits between two section of hose. Like on this canister -  the hoses just slide on. Which canister do you have?

my hose cone is out of shape and not real flexible, will it work just as well?

Hi, It depends on disfigured the cone is, it may not fit into the skimmer properly preventing the pool cleaner from working.

It didn't work any better with it. We finally got it up and running without it. It's doing okay now. It is not the fault of the seller, rather the manufacturer who had me purchase an additional part I didn't need.
