We have a DE filter and earth is returning back into the pool and collecting in the center and pressure quickly lost. This was not a problem previous to this year. Just came home from vacation and found large inner area covered in earth. If we replace filter cartridge, will this remedy the problem? There are a few places on bottom where filter seems seperated from black plastic.

I got a cartridge in 2016 item # 2700200305--description- # PLD50---order # 60DA187-1
Is this the cartridge which can replace that one ?
