I'm thinking not but is this hole in the side of this Hayward SP4000B Diffuser supposed to be there? I have a picture attached. This is from a Hayward Northstar Pump. Thank you in advance!

Hi, Mike. That hole in the diffuser should not be there. The Diffuser and Impeller Ring will need to be replaced.
