Hello Mario,this drain plug is for the Clearwater filter; if you need the drain plug for the Clearwater II, the correct drain plug is Drain Assembly 500-5300.

I need a wrench to fit this cap so is 1.5 '' the size to remove it or 1.7/8 very hard to use channel locks no room to work.

Hi, Gary. There is not a special wrench for this cap, you can use a strap wrench instead.

I have a older Baquapure sand filter. The drain assembly part number is 505-1910. The drain cap has broken. Will this work as a replacement for the cap?

Hello, we will need to know the specific model of the filter in order to confirm for you. The model should be located on the main filter label on the outside of the filter body. If not legible, there should be a part # embossed into the plastic end cap of the cartridge, could you supply us that information?
