how do you swap out the parts on the lid

Hi, Joe. You will have to remove the e-clip which keeps the knob in place. Once the e-clip is removed then you'll be able to removed the knob so that it can be installed on the new lid.

My filter is very old and had cracked around the pressure gauge and pressure release. I ordered new Filter Head, pressure gauge and release valve from INYO. It was very easy to install and now I have no leaks from the Filter Head.

I noticed a crack starting to form where the air release value goes into the filet lid. I really had to bear down on it, to get it to closed good enough that no water was coming out. But every time I had to do this the crack grew. I knew it was time to replace the lid. I also replaced the gauge also as the glass on the old one was so fogging you could not even read the pressure. Order a gasket also, the lid does not come with one.

I checked out the manufacturer and got the size that matched my existing filter. I got a better price and also purchase a new pressure gauge. I installed it in less than 20 minutes. The old one was leaking under and around the relief valve. I'm pleased with the service.
