1) Remove 6 brass nuts from top of vacuum drum.
2) Lift cylinder out of drum.
3) Have a person hold the old filter steady and turn the gray collar on the top counter-clockwise.
4) Remove the stainless plate and set it on the new filter. Install gray collar by threading it on the new filter clockwise snug.
5) Perform steps 1 and 2 in reverse, go back to work.

You just can't beat this filter for longevity and particulate removal. I have tried the cheaper substitution filters but can see a noticeable difference in the clarity of my water when using the Harmsco

Received the cartridge quickly and in very secure packaged. It is an original equipment part and has the quality construction and materials expected. It fits perfectly and is well worth the price (which was the best around in any case).
