Square Ring, Seal Plate
I a hayward pump SP26 with a century ust 1152 motor looks like a square flange. motor model# c38l2n134c1 ,1 1/2 hp ,FR-56J, your web site says to replace seal when exchanging motors, pool company say's $12.00 for seal that's not an issue what seal do I need?? The impeller is good according to the guys who closed it is this something harry home owner can accomplish??

Hi Mike, for us to suggest the proper seal kit could you send a photo of a wide shot of your complete pool pump to show the pipes going in and out of the pump? To supply this photo simply click the reply link below and upload your photo. Once we get this photo we can make the proper recommendation for the seal kit.

1. Turns out it was my pump and not the O Ring.
2. I then ordered a hayward pump and thank goodness the pool company said to call an electrician to install it since they were booked. They did not have to tell me that.
3. The electrician installed it and I still had to call a plumber but over all it got me to know my pool procedures again.

Pros: It keeps you from throwing away your otherwise good pump
I needed a new gasket for my 30 year old pump. This was the only place I found that stocked a good selection of parts for my old American Products pump. The gasket was original quality. I my pump should be good for another 30 years.
