Leaking pool pump

INYO makes it easy for you to buy the right parts for your job. The support is great. Bought the whole kit , as opposed to just seal, because the pump in question was manufactured several years ago and INYO tells you specifically what you must buy for a successful project. Replacing this kit is straight forward, but it requires complete pump disassembly and reassembly. Only real issues are assembling the impeller to the motor shaft, which requires getting to the shaft by removing the motor run capacitor to hold the shaft in place to screw the impeller on and reassembling the motor assembly to the pump body, due to the tight fit caused by the seal between the motor assembly and the pump body. Otherwise, a piece of cake.
