The SX164DA Lateral Assembly would be the correct lateral assembly for the Hayward S166T Sand Filter.

Do the flanges fold up so they will fit through the hole? Mine is s-180

Hi Don, If you have the Hayward S180 Sand Filter then there are two options for the laterals... the S180 Threaded Old Style Lateral and the S180 Pivot New Style Lateral.

Would this fit my Hayward s245-T sand filter? The center pipe has some cracking and I haven't gotten the sand out yet so not sure what laterals look like. Pool cam with home and first time going thru the routine....are there any other common failing items to look for with these filters that I should look for? Thank You

Hi Dominick, Unfortunately, this does not fit the Hayward S245-T the center standpipe for the Hayward S245-T has been discontinued and only the laterals can be purchased as replacements. You might consider a new S244T Sand Filter
