is this part a direct replacement for the existing American Products part number 393016. My lid is getting stress cracks around the perimeter and I need a replacement. Will this lid work?

This is a direct replacement for the AP Ultra Flo or Americana Pool Pump. The outside diameter of the lid is 7 3/4" and the diameter of the inside lip measures 6 5/8". Please verify the pump model or lid dimensions prior placing your order.

the lid v38-160 attaches to the inside the clips all broke off. do you sell something to hold this lid in place.

I need a new lid for my basket. last 4 are 3017 . I tried 3018 but it is just a hair to big . What will replace 17. ken

Hello Ken, Please look at American Products Ultra Flo Parts to see if the Lid, (new Style) (39301700) and see if DIMENSIONS 7.55" X 1.7" work, because the Lid (v38-160) is DIMENSIONS 7.75" X 1.5". See on our sites listed look at pictures below with size and where to measure from.

Pros: Fit right
Cons: Charge if wrong fit
Good thing this company has the product I was looking for because it is not made anymore and hard to find. Make sure you have the correct product number, my local pool store helped but they were going to charge me and extra $20 plus shipping.

Good fit, good design change to capture the O ring. However this type of plastic is not BaquaSpa resistant, and will crack in a couple of years. It would be fine for Clorine, or Bromine.
