I have the Wet Institute Model WA Pump/Strainer. I need the Clear Lid for unit. The part # is 50-99-002. The inside Dia is 6 1/2 " and the outside is 7 1/2" will this fit my pump?

Hi Danny, yes this is the correct lid for the Wet Institute PA series pool pump.

Wrench Set
I took the old broken clamp off with a wrench and then removed the old lid. I put a new o ring, with appropriate sealant on the new lid, and then tightened the new clamp with the knob provided.

After we got the new lid our pump started working again. What a relief, couldn't afford a new pump!

This part fit perfectly onto our Wet Institute strainer. Our previous lid had broken after 11 seasons of pool use. I needed a replacement immediately in order to be able to run the pump and filter. I was able to get the system running 5 minutes after I opened the package containing the replacement lid. I also purchased a replacement O ring as I figured after 11 seasons it was time for replacement.
