The opening of my skimmer is 15 x 5 1/2. Will this fit or not be long enough? If it doesn't fit can it be returned?

Hi, Ann. This weir will be too short. Re-measure your skimmer because there is a lip that that stops the weir from flapping 180 degrees, measure the inside of that portion.
