I have a Max-E-Pro, motor bearings a really noisy (high pitched scream). I found the motor kit listed above wanted to verity it is the correct Motor, I would like to get a seal and bearing kit for this pump and motor, for a backup. I have pictures because it varies slightly from the Max-E-Pro pump in the image on you site.

If you have a Sta-Rite pump that is going to fit every Sta-Rite pump. If you want to attach a picture to this email and send it back to me to confirm that is the correct motor I can do that for you. Though I will need to know for sure which model pump you have to recommend the correct seals. As far as the bearings, the bearing for that motor is part number 5270-31.

This pump appears to be an exact match of my current pump, which I need to replace after 15 years of service. If I wanted to upgrade to a 2-speed pump in lieu of this pump, what would you recommend?

Hi. The UQS1102R is the dual speed replacement for this SQ1072 single speed motor. The UQS1102R requires 230 volts and either a Toggle Switch - 1011431-001 or the Dual Speed Pump Timer - T106R.
