If the water is still running out of the backwash after putting it on filter does the multiport need a new o ring

Florence, the spider gasket on your valve likely needs to be replaced. The spider gasket is a spoked gasket within the valve that directs the flow to the correct pipe. Take some time to read this guide How to Replace a Spider Gasket on a Multiport Valve

Key 7A appears to be the O-ring that I need for my old HY-TEC hot tub with an AquaFlo Model FMH 07-2 pump. HOWEVER, key 7A indicates 5.5" diameter and my old unbroken item is only 5 1/8" diameter [and is 1/8" thick], and is flat on both sides [by design, or from age is unknown]. Can you help me determine what part I need and can you provide it for me? Your help is appreciated.

Hi Robert, The FMHP Volute O-ring (92200090) will be the correct o-ring you will need for your AquaFlo FMH Pump.

I just bought this o-ring. the one that came off is bigger by about .5 inches on the diameter and the cross section is about .2 diameter instead of .125 diameter.
the part number on the valve is 262506

Hi Gary, The Cover O-ring (358) would be the correct o-ring for the Pentair model 262506 valve.

I am looking for an O-ring for a splash Pak sand filter model #94086675. Is part# 4700-05A $7.99 the correct part?

Hi James, This o-ring will work with Splash Pak filter valve but not the actual Splash Pak filter tank. The Tank O-ring (47617204R000) is the o-ring that goes between the valve and the filter body if that's that o-ring that you need.

I've got a Praher tm12a filter valve and need a top cover o-ring.
Can you give me a part number for ordering and/or tell me what my alternative parts are?.
(I've measured the diameter of the threaded top at a little under 6 inches).
Can you help?
Thanks,
Rob.

Less than 1 hr
Screwdriver
Removed the screws on the top of the multi-function valve.
Took the top off by gently prying it loose with a straight blade screwdriver.
The O ring was easily visible and needing to be replaced.
I also took the time to replace the diverter gasket while replacing the O ring.
Put the top back on.
Put the screws back in and tightened it all down.
Turned pump back on and checked for leaks. There were no leaks.
