Good gauge, would be better with a glass lens

Pros: Works as it should
Cons: Plexiglass lens yellows with exposure to UV light
I had the original gauge installed with the new filter in 2006. After 4 seasons the gauge itself was working just fine, but the plexiglass lens had yellowed so much that the gauge was unreadable. A real glass lens would be ideal and would have spared me the expense of replacing a perfectly good gauge. Try pointing it to the North or NW if possible.
