Hi Artie, You will have to remove the propeller screw then slide the propeller off of the pump motor shaft. You can also follow the steps in the 2003 Repair Bulletin.

the old aquabot motor stopped running is it worth fixing or should I buy a new one,
$404. seems like a lot to sink into an old aquabot.

Hello Jim, it would be your decision to update and buy a whole new cleaner or buy the pump motor. Depending on how old the cleaner is, robotic cleaners last 7-8 years, depending on maintenance.

I bought my Aquabot Turbo May 2000. I have repaired and or replaced many parts along the way! This week-end the pump motor stopped working (the drive is working). Is there a replacement for the pump? Can I use another 6000 series motor with the same mounting holes?

Good afternoon, there will be no replacement motor for that unit.

I have an Aquabot XL. The pump motor plug on the bottom came lose and all the oil came out. After drying out, what oil should I put in before replacing the plug.
