Is this what I need to replace a old ac/dc adapter for my pool light? I have a in ground pool with a light.

Hi Lisa, You can use this transformer to convert a 300 watt or less pool light from 120 volts to 12 volts.

Yes, you can use this transformer for your landscape lighting as long as it does not exceed the max wattage of the transformer.
