Very easy to install. I put this on the return line to the pool so I could block the water and clean the strainer basket without leaking water. Prior to this valve, I would stuff a plastic shopping bag in the return line to the pool, which still allowed water to back up into the filter. Long overdue improvement to my strainer cleaning chore.

ordered this valve 1 1.5 hose x mipt, arrived quickly, easy install, only complant is did not come with the locking clip that prevents accidental closing of the valve, went back to site and couldn't find this clip as a separate part #.

I received this item and it was a perfect fit. The last valve was 15 years old with a slight leak. I am very pleased for the replacement part. I will be ordering a couple more of these to upgrade the pool.

Pros: Easy site navigation, quick turnaround time for online purchase
Cons: Hard to find website unless you know the name, not the best picture reference if you have no part number or the incorrect technical name
After hours of endless searching for the part I needed, I finally came across this website that had what I was looking for. I was hesitant to purchase at first, but decided I needed the part and from what I saw it was the one. The color was wrong and I couldn't tell if it was threaded male and slide female from the picture, but my pool was turning on me with no circulation so I had to take the plunge. When it arrived approx 3 days later I opened the box and it was exact. Took me all of 2 minutes to remove the old and replace the new. My pool loves me for it and so do the kids, they don't have to swim in lake water!
