Hello Roberto. No, not all 3-way valves are 2 inch on the inside diameter. The outside diameter on most are either 2" or 2 1/2" , yes. Please look at THIS PAGE and see the different types of valves we have to offer.

Cons: Have to remove 4 screws to lubricate diverter.
The original builder of my pool installed five of these valves eleven years ago, so when one of them misteriously appeared with a broken shaft and no handle (three teenagers at home, and as usual nobody knew anything about what happened) I ordered the same valve and just replaced the core without having to go through the hassle of cutting pipes and all that. They're easy to use and last a long time. But they recommend lubricating the diverter twice a year, which means you have to remove four screws to do it and be careful not to kink the o'ring seal when closing it back. If that happens, you get a small air leak and the pump won't self prime. It happened to me once and it took me a long time to find out that the cause of the problem was the seal in one of the valves.
