Provides protection against corrosion and possible deteriorating effects of pool water by reliably encapsulating the 8 AWG ground connection in a wet-niche shell. The wet-niche forming shell is a corrosion-resistant metal housing for underwater fixtures in permanently installed pools. Article 680-20(b)(1) National Electrical Code. UL Listed 2L02. 1 Kit will do 2 lights. Kit includes resin compound, 1 pair protective gloves, CC-3 cable cleaning pads , and a wooden applicator.
I was told to get potting compound for reinstalling my underwater pool light. I don't know what it is or how to use it.Can it be purchased at a hardware store locally?

We are replacing our fiber optic light with a LED light. I'm told that we need wet niche potty compound. Do you have any info on how to use this product? Thanks

The potting compound came with very clear directions and everything necessary for potting 2 light fixtures. Thanks to INYO's site for clearly stating that one potting compound package would take care of 2 lights.
